How can you prepare for motherhood? Honestly I wish someone could, but every experience is so totally unque that it would be impossible.

Some journeys are let say bumpier and trickier than others and finding help especially wheh your tired can feel so confusing and overwhewlming.

Is is frequent night wakings?
Hours to go to sleep?
Short Naps?
Early Rising?
Difficulty settling?

The list goes on, and what I’ve learn through my tiome as a Mum and now a certified Level 6 Holistic sleep coach is that cry it out is a method from the 60’s that should have bneen phased out a LONG time ago.

I believe better sleep begins with understanding your child, not changing who they are.
I support families through gentle, individualized sleep guidance that honors connection and well-being.

I take the time to understand your child, your home, and your goals. With compassionate, ongoing support, I help you navigate challenges and build sustainable sleep long term without making a child feel unsafe.

Sleep doesn’t need tears to work.
Children need safety, connection, and support — not to be left alone.

Cry-It-Out Method

  • Focuses on behaviour over emotional needs

  • Involves leaving a child to cry for increasing periods

  • Aims for quick results, often at the cost of distress

  • Teaches a child to stop signalling, not necessarily to feel safe

  • Can feel overwhelming for parents who value connection

  • Parents are told crying is “normal” or must be pushed through

Holistic Sleep Method

  • Focuses on the whole child — nervous system, emotions, development

  • Prioritises connection, safety, and regulation

  • No leaving children to cry it out

  • Builds sleep skills gradually and sustainably

  • Supports parents as much as children

  • Respects temperament, attachment, and family values

Some nice words

“No pressure, no crying it out, no guilt. Just support, reassurance and a plan that actually made sense. We’re sleeping again and feeling way more confident as parents.”
NAOMI, WARRIEWOOD
“I loved how normal and supported the whole process felt. There was never a ‘one size fits all’ approach — it was really tailored to our child and what we were comfortable with. Sleep improved without tears and the whole house feels calmer now.”
